Meeting The Team
Brett Scott first joined Scheryn in 2014 as an intern where he was a key driver in setting up the Scheryn Art Collection. Prior to 2014, Brett attended Rhodes University where he completed a BCom Honours degree in Economics and Art History. During this time Brett developed an interest in Art and Economics and specifically the political, social and economic implications of culture.
After completing his internship at Scheryn in September 2014, Brett enrolled at the Sotheby’s Institute of Art in London where he completed his MA in Art Business. Here Brett continued his interest in Art and Economics, this time choosing to focus on behavioural economics and art-backed lending. At the beginning of 2016, Brett returned to Scheryn in his current role as the Scheryn’s manager.
